Event ingestion

Send activity from your own devices and software into the logs.

Sending events

Use events to record activity from systems outside Revolution St, such as scans from your own scanners, weights from your own scales, or picks confirmed in another WMS. Events are stored in the same log tables as activity from built-in devices, so they appear in Logs, dashboards, analytics and alert rules.

  • GET /api/v3/events/types returns the accepted event types and their schemas.
  • POST /api/v3/events accepts one event, { "type": "…", "data": { … } }, and returns 202.
  • POST /api/v3/events/batch accepts up to 1000 events. Each event is accepted or rejected separately, and the response lists the result for each one.

The environment comes from your key, so don’t send an environment ID in the body. Orders, products and other records are not events. Use their own endpoints instead.
